Privacy policy
Last updated
Creators trust us with sensitive context about their work, so we keep what we collect to a minimum. This page sets out exactly what reaches us, what we do with it, and how to have it corrected or deleted.
Who is responsible
FanGrowthLab is a brand operated by Techno Hiker Pvt Ltd, a private limited company incorporated in India, and that company decides how the information below is used. Reach us about privacy through the growth map form.
What we receive
- Growth map requests: the name you choose (your creator name is fine), your email address, an optional link, where you post, whether you are a creator or an agency, and your message.
- Things you choose to share: screenshots of statistics or tracking links, and notes about your accounts. We never ask for, and do not want, your logins.
- Clients: contact and billing details needed to invoice, plus the records tax law requires.
- Site security logs: standard technical data kept by our host, such as IP address and browser type.
We do not collect legal names, identity documents, bank details or any explicit content. If something like that is sent to us by mistake, we delete it and let you know.
How we use it
- To prepare your growth map and reply to you, because you asked us to.
- To deliver the services you buy and send invoices, as part of our agreement with you.
- To keep the site and form safe from abuse, which benefits you and us.
Nothing you send is used for advertising, sold, or shared for cross-context behavioral advertising. We make no automated decisions about you.
Cookies
There are no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies on this site. The growth map form uses one temporary session cookie to block forged submissions; it disappears when your browser closes.
Who else handles it
Only the providers that keep the business running: the company hosting this site and our email provider. We never tell anyone who our clients are, unless the law obliges us to.
Where it is stored
We are based in India, and our providers may keep data in other countries, so your information will probably be handled outside the country you live in. When UK or EU data protection law covers that transfer, we rely on the safeguards those laws permit and can describe them if you ask.
How long we keep it
- Growth map requests that go no further: deleted within 12 months.
- Screenshots and account notes from clients: deleted when the engagement ends.
- Invoices and contracts: kept only as long as accounting rules require.
Your choices and rights
You can ask to see what we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to how it is used, or receive a copy you can take elsewhere. Those rights come from the UK and EU GDPR, and comparable rights exist in a number of US states. Send the request through the form; we may check it is really you, and we reply within a month.
If you are unhappy with our answer, you can contact your data protection regulator, such as the ICO in the UK or the authority in your EU country.
Changes
Any change to how we use personal data will appear here, with a new date, before it takes effect. The rest of our commitments are in the terms of service.
